Beth Mead: 'We need to support the future Lionesses'

Grassroots girls football is often being sidelined by boys' teams, according to new research.

The paper found over half of women and girl football players have booked a football pitch, only to have it reallocated to a men’s team.

Lioness and Arsenal Women star, Beth Mead, told BBC London the UK needs to do more so that women and girls feel supported and valued in the sport to develop the future stars of the game.
